This project provides upgrades to BART’s 34.5kV subtransmission system including replacement and installation of sections of 34.5kV feeder cable circuits and raceways on M1 and M2 tracks between various substations on BART’s M-Line in San Francisco. This work includes furnishing Hi-Rail vehicles for transporting materials and equipment on the track. The work also includes furnishing and installation of new isolation disconnect switches (IDS) and new 288-strand fiber optic cable.
