This project rehabilitates two existing sewer lift stations, AP06P and AP08P, located at Gate 6 and 8 of Terminal 1 at the Oakland International Airport. This work includes providing temporary bypass piping; removing and disposing of existing sewer pumps; removing existing and replacing with new sewer pumps, access hatches, valves, piping, concrete slabs and electrical cabinets and control panels. Strict security clearance and badging is required of all employees. With the work area located next to the tarmac, access is confined to tight spaces due to navigation around airplanes, baggage loading zones, airline tenants, airport maintenance crews, vehicles, etc.
