The project is to replace an aging gravity trunk sewer with a new lift station and new piping. New large, deep piping is installed via open cut upstream of the new lift station. New force main piping is installed via open cut and sliplining downstream of the new lift station, which parts occur in a city street. Electrical work includes bringing power and communication from a nearby building to the new lift station area along with a backup generator and automatic transfer switch. Mechanical work includes dual pumps with an automatic float system for an operational lift station along with multiple valve vaults to control flows.
