DMZ performed subcontract work for Transit America Services, Inc. (TASI) to rehabilitate railroad grade crossings as separate subcontracts at Churchill Avenue, East Meadow Drive and Charleston Road in Palo Alto.

DMZ’s scope of work included all traffic control, demolition of track, excavation, grading, ballast removal and installation, underdrain, signal conduit, HMAC underlayment, surface paving, striping and supporting TASI’s track installation. The work was performed within the Caltrain operating envelope during revenue hours and during short windows of non-revenue hours at night.
