The work of this Contract includes installation of an anchored wire mesh panel system intended to reduce hazards to moving trains from fractures and potentially loose concrete in the reinforced concrete lining of the Berkeley Hills Tunnels at the locations where the main Hayward Fault trace crosses each Tunnel. Supplemental work includes, crack repair by epoxy injection and concrete scaling within the work area.
