The Design-Build project consists of a new 280 kW-DC PV solar system installed on the new Silicon Valley BART/VTA Milpitas Station Parking Garage. The work involves furnishing all design, labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to design and construct the project. Detailed elements of work include: Architectural and Structural work including design and construction services for the PV panel support system, design and installation of new wet fire suppression system including alarm and tamper components, remove and re-installation of public address speakers and security cameras, electrical work including design services for the PV panel/inverter system (including interconnection coordination with PG&E), LED light fixtures beneath the PV panels, and revised photometrics. Further work includes furnishing and installation of PV panels and associated electrical components, design and grounding to the new equipment, panels, subpanels, structures, PV panels, inverters in compliance with NEC, IEEE, CBC and/or NFPA code requirements. Additional work will include design and procurement of a Data Acquisition System (DAS) for remote PV monitoring and modelling services including shading and insolation in conjunction with mechanical, electrical plumbing coordination and commissioning services.
